We are currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join our team in Wood Dale IL.

This is a Hybrid role (onsite 3x per week).

This position is responsible for minimizing financial risk to the organization by assessing and advising on credit worthiness of prospective and existing customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage customer credit files by performing credit reviews, evaluating payment terms, and setting/adjusting credit limits for prospective and existing customers.
• Meet daily order release deadlines to ensure customer orders are processed timely.
• Follow up for payment on orders that are Cash in Advance
• Perform internal investigations to resolve account discrepancies.
• Perform various analyses and preparation of reports.
• Assist and support with placement of 3rd party collection accounts.
• Manage bankruptcy accounts including proof of claim filing and preference claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive experience researching and examining credit risks, assessing credit history, and approving or disapproving extension of credit.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
• Strong PC and Excel skills. Oracle, Esker, Salesforce experience a plus.
• Business to Business (B2B) background is required.
