The Sales Development Representative will champion the sales function inside the organization to develop, generate and promote additional revenue for Work Truck Finance by actively reaching out to existing and prospective dealers. The individual will provide support to Work Truck Dealers throughout the transactional workflow process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish and meet annual funding targets and objectives for assigned dealers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at Work Truck and Vocational Trailer dealerships.
Work cooperatively with cross functional teams to submit, approve, negotiate, document and fund transactions.
Telephone or virtual meetings with key decision makers of qualified Work Truck Dealers and Vocational Trailer dealerships.
Initiate outbound marketing calls and continuing supportive sales efforts to the Division’s existing and prospective dealer base to inquire on current and new business opportunities.
Perform with frequency and conduct continuous follow-up with assigned dealers in a timely and expedited manner. Follow-up phone calls will be conducted on open and approved credit transactions to receive commitment and closure towards driving sales volume and achieving sales targets within authorized decision-making capacity.
Manage overall dealer application workflow and close all approved deals with the dealer.
Collaborate with the sales team and cross functional teams to build relationships. Work collectively with internal groups to research and resolve all dealer concerns.
Participate in industry events and conferences to create brand awareness upon request.
Develop opportunities for other areas of the company (Cross-Sell).
Provide backup assistance and embrace assisting the Regional Sales Manger(s) in the overall effort to generate business opportunities.
Understand commercial vehicle credit guidelines, lending requirements and operational procedures.
Work closely with credit staff to obtain approval for new dealer prospect opportunities and coordinate onboarding process with dealer.
Effectively manage time commitments and scheduling of meetings along with maintain CRM database and administrative functions related to opportunities pipeline.
Understand lending market within the transportation industry sector and economic conditions that can impact dealer customer performance.

Facilitate incoming dealer support 800# phone calls/facsimile/Internet submission requests from authorized manufacturer dealers accurately and expeditiously.

Critical/Analytical thinker that can look “out of the box” for solutions and process improvement.
Strong proofreading skills.
Education and Experience:
Related sales experience 5+ years; Finance/Banking industry preferred.
Financial Services experience in Operations, Sales, Support roles a plus.
BA/BS required in Business/Marketing/Finance related fields considered
Tools and Equipment Used:
Personal computer, copier, fax, telephone and other office equipment
Ability to use virtual meeting software
Working Hours and Desired Location:
Hours may vary to accommodate business needs based on assigned dealers; frequently requires working 40 hours.
Candidate will operate daily in Flower Mound, TX office.
Travel: Less than 10% - Periodic travel to industry events, tradeshows, seminars.
Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment.
Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone, headset, virtually and in-person.
Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another.
