The incumbent reports to the Director of Revenue with primary responsibility for collections and revenue accounting. This includes managing personnel and contractors who collect delinquent taxes and other debts owed to the State and oversight of account reconciliation, financial reporting, refund issuance, special fund transfers, and refund off-sets. This role requires a manager with effective people skills, who can manage contractual agreements, exchange programs with other agencies, develop performance plans, goals, and objectives for each area, and lead both managers and subordinate staff.
