This VP of Sales/Sales Manager position is for a career minded and seasoned individual with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the middle market equipment leasing industry. The VP of Sales/Sales Manager reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales. This individual provides influential leadership to the sales team to further their development and exceed company goals. Collaborates with Senior Management as required and is essential in driving company sales and new business development.
Minimum of 5 years prior business management experience in a sales and marketing environment with a proven track record of sales success preferably in the middle market equipment leasing industry.
Build, train, and motivate a team of sales professionals in order to hit exceed sales goals.
Past job experience must confirm a high level of energy with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Must be adept in business development, lease structuring, credit underwriting, lease accounting and effective at closing equipment leasing/financing transactions with both new and existing clients.
Proven ability to interact effectively with executive management.
Required to meet and exceed sales goals to include volume and profit (yield) targets by developing sales strategies, performance metrics, and utilizing best business practices.
Must be able to solve multiple and varied business problems and successfully implement corrective actions.
A bachelor’s degree is required.
