This is a multi-dimensional position overseeing all aspects of Operations and Credit for an industry specific equipment finance company. Duties include general oversight of the credit, collections, documentation and funding activities required in a leasing environment. Assist in directing the development of the functional or business unit strategy and execute necessary high impact initiatives in order to achieve short and long-term financial and operational goals. Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's operational policies, objectives, initiatives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Lead department managers in the credit, collections, documentation and funding functions, including the implementation and development of policies and procedures, as they apply to customer creditworthiness, extension of credit lines, collections and compliance with Operations Policy in all areas of the business.
Oversee the operations of the organization by directing and managing information technology strategic plans, policies, programs, and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.
Interact with the sales and marketing teams to set goals, analyze and measure results, and report on operational performance and develop plans to improve relevant key performance initiatives.
Evaluate overall operations of computing and information technology functions and recommend enhancements.
Prepare objectives and budgets to facilitate the orderly and efficient capture, storage, processing and dissemination of information.
Maintain and understanding of the need to interact with company managers on both internal and external operations within a holding company environment..
Empower the operational team with the leadership and resources they need to successfully complete operations initiatives.
Positively represent the company at all times through a success-oriented and professional demeanor.
Job Specifications (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required)
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10-15 years of industry experience in leadership positions.
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Strong background in credit analysis, credit decision making and collection oversight.
Familiarity with the operational procedures at all levels of the organization
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset that translates into leadership skills
Knowledge in contracting, negotiating, and change management procedures
Knowledge of information technology computer systems and software and the ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes
Ability to simultaneously manage several projects while supervising, mentoring, and motivating teams to produce quality work
Ability to communicate effectively both in an oral and written capacity
Familiarity with products and services offered by the Company
Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements
Knowledge of Lease Plus and DocuSign or similar systems
Occasional travel and willingness to assume any other duties as required
