We’re looking for a Regional Account Executive based in the state of Texas (preferably in the Dallas Fort Worth area) to join our Ritchie Bros. Financial Services division.

The Regional Account Executive will strategically and effectively manage a sales territory and contribute to Ritchie Bros. Financial Services ongoing profitable and sustainable growth. Sales territory to include Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico. Objectives are set in alignment with the overall Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (“RBA”) strategy of developing and leading a customer-focused culture while achieving business line objectives and financial results.
This role will also contribute to the provision of straightforward and knowledgeable service with our clients, partners and team members through daily interactions to foster a relationship of mutual trust and confidence.
Key performance indicators will be measured by meeting the following objectives:
Driving Sales Volumes and Revenue by growing existing business and developing new business relationships with End-Users and Dealer/Vendor customers in the local market.
Use financing strategically to assist Ritchie Bros. Territory Managers and/or Strategic Accounts team to generate new consignment opportunities across all the Ritchie Bros. sales channels.
Supporting RBFS and Ritchie Bros. current and new initiatives through providing ongoing awareness to Internal and External Customers.
Adhering to RBFS’ Policy, Process and Procedures as it pertains to the Sales Team while seeking ways to drive efficiencies and effectiveness
Here’s what you bring:
University degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years+ in a Equipment Finance Industry
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, negotiating and relationship building skills
A track record for setting a positive example of change and for encouraging others to do the same
Proven interpersonal and communications skills, including coaching, feedback and motivational techniques to successfully conduct program related activities
A high degree of flexibility to adapt to a variety of tasks and functions
Strong PC skills including a high degree of competency in Microsoft Excel, and intermediate financial modeling skills
Knowledge of internal service management activities and techniques
Knowledge of people and performance management techniques
Working knowledge of revenue generating techniques/requirements
The incumbent works independently within approved authorities and RBFS policies
