Summary: The Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a work group, to include work analysis and staffing, customer interaction, financial forecasting and cost control, quality assurance, continuous improvement and performance management of assigned staff. The role is focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity, meeting service/productivity standards and resolving operational problems and identification of business process opportunities.
Job Responsibilities: • Audit and approval credit memos for amounts established by Manager 10% • Coordinate aged statement reviews with collectors to ensure adequate and proper collector performance. Participate on BU conference calls with collectors to maximize collector performance. Review Collector work to ensure proper coverage, adherence to published protocols, and appropriate follow-up actions are executed. Provide feedback to collectors on performance. Provide day-to-day work direction and primary input on hiring, firing, performance, and rewards decisions. Ensure work coverage for the group, including scheduling, attendance management, and payroll. 60% • Provide training on all aspects of the job to new and existing collectors. Create, maintain, and alter existing Desktop Procedures and Protocols. 10% • Compile and publish group performance reporting to field and management . 10% • Lead in and participate in projects to include department, SSC, division, and corporate initiatives. 10%
Experience: 8 years of related work experience. Abilities: Travel Requirements up to 10% •Proven ability to lead others •Solid experience in drafting and preparing written material such as proposals. •Excellent written, verbal and active listening skills. •Ability to ask the right questions to understand the real issues. •Can work independently with minimal supervision. •Strong time management skills, ability to assess and prioritize multiple requests. •Strong people skills: peer relationships and persuasiveness skills •Acute attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or 8 (eight) years related business work experience
